Finally, the software for the Asian Cadet Circuit has been activated and can be viewed from the FCA website. This software, which is similar to the one being used by the European Fencing Confederation, was designed by the Software technology developer FENCING TIME INC.
The software enables the different national fencing federations to have their own exclusive login access in order to enter and apply licenses for their fencers, and submit entries or inscribe to any competitions of the Asian Cadet Circuit. Eventually, it is envisioned that entries to the annual Asian Cadet Championships will be required to use this system, as being practiced by the EFC and the International Fencing Federation.
The system also enabled the FCA website to have a link to "Asian Cadet Circuit" whereby the public could view the scheduled competitions/tournaments of the ACC, the results of completed tournaments, and the current ranking of the fencers who have participated in the season. As part of the ACC guidelines, the results of the current Asian Cadet Championships held in Korat Thailand in February 2017 serves as the first basis for the Asian cadet ranking. The fencers' ranking in his best 3 circuit competitions plus the results of the Korat competition will be the basis for the Overall Ranking of the Asian Cadet Circuit for the season 2016-2017.
