WANG WEI IS NEW MEMBER OF FCA BOARD

Upon receipt of an advice from the Chinese Fencing Federation that Mr. CAI JAIDONG will not be able to continue his involvement with the Fencing Confederation of Asia, the FCA Executive Board recently approved to replace Mr. Cai with Mr. WANG WEI as the FCA Director for East Asia and a member of the FCA Executive Board.

Mr. Wang Wei is currently the President of the Chinese Fencing Federation and the Vice President of the International Fencing Federation. His active involvement in fencing in the world is well recognized and respected earning for him the distinction of being elected in the FIE Executive Committee with the most number of votes.

Replacing Mr. Wang Wei in the FCA Technical Commission is Mr. YUAN XIANGYANG who likewise will assume the position of Chairman of the Technical Commission. Mr. Yuan is currently the Secretary General of the Chinese Fencing Federation and a well experienced competition manager and member of the Directoire Technique in various FIE and FCA competitions.
