    WOMEN'S COACHING COURSE IN ASIA/OCEANIA

    As a reward for being named part of the "Women and Sports" awardee for 2016 by the International Olympic Committee, MA. LEONOR "Marilee" ESTAMPADOR (Philippines) was given a grant to undertake a project of her choice. Her decision is to coordinate with FIE and FCA to conduct a course for the development of women fencing coaches in Asia and Oceania.

    Thus a Women's coaching course for Foil Fencing is scheduled to be held in Manila, Philippines from June 24 to July 7, 2017. All fencing federations in Asia and the Oceania are invited to nominate a maximum of one female Foil coach to attend this first ever such course which will be conducted by Mr. Pietro Kuki (Romania). Travel subsidy, accommodation and meals will be provided to all participating coaches.
