    FIE ACCEPTS 5 ASIANS IN TRAINING CAMP

    The International Fencing Federation has accepted five fencers from Asia to participate in the FIE Training Camp to be held in Torun Poland before the 2019 World Juniors and Cadets Fencing Championships.

    The five young fencers were chosen by the FCA from among the nominees from Asian federations. Priority were given to the youngest fencer nominated per weapon in consideration of the developmental nature of the Training Camp.

    The five fencers are:

    Mohamed Almaazni from UAE for Men's Epee
    Rasha Al-Sleman from Syria for Women's Epee
    Prince John Francis Felipe from the Philippines for Men's Foil
    Chayanutphat Shimakerdchoke from Thailand for Women's Foil
    Shikshya Napit from Nepal for Women's Saber
