2022 ASIAN JUNIORS AND CADETS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Following the decision of the FIE to cancel all the zonal championships for Juniors and Cadets this year that include the 2021 AJCFC in Tashkent Uzbekistan, the FCA Executive Board unanimously approved to grant the request of the Fencing Federation of Uzbekistan the right to organize the 2022 AJCFC in Tashkent.

This FCA decision gave due consideration to the fact that the Olympic Council of Asia has recently granted the hosting of the 2025 Asian Youth Games to Uzbekistan, and it is believed that the hosting of the 2022 AJCFC in Tashkent will give the country the appropriate impetus for the OCA to include the sport of fencing in the 2025 AYG.

The hosts for our other competitions in 2022 such as the Asian Fencing Championships, the Asian Veterans Championships and the Asian Under 23 Fencing Championships, has yet to be decided.
