The Women Epee team of CHINA won the second gold medal for Asia in the 2015 World Fencing Championships held in Moscow Russia. The feat proves China's overall power in the women's epee team event, following their gold medal finish in the same event during the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The Chinese team overpowered Dominican Republic 45-33 in the elimination rounds to faced the strong German team in the quarterfinals, where China edged out Germany 43-42 in an exciting match. In the semifinals, China dominated Russia with an 43-34 score eliminating the favorite Russian team in their home ground. The finals with the French team finished at 35-29, with China winning the gold.
